This Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions for refunds, cancellations, and billing inquiries related to the Happy Horse AI platform (the "Service"). We strive to ensure a fair and transparent billing experience for every user.
1. Subscription Cancellations
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings or by contacting support@happyhorseeai.com. Upon cancellation:
- Your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period
- You will retain access to all plan features and unused credits until the billing period expires
- No further charges will be made after the current billing period ends
- Cancellation does not retroactively generate a refund for the current billing period
2. Refund Eligibility
We offer refunds under the following circumstances:
- Duplicate Charges: If you were charged more than once for the same billing period, we will refund the duplicate charge in full
- Service Unavailability: If the Service experienced significant downtime (exceeding 24 consecutive hours) during your billing period and you were unable to use your credits, you may be eligible for a prorated refund or credit extension
- Billing Errors: If you were charged an incorrect amount due to a system error, we will correct the charge and issue a refund for any overpayment
- First-Time Subscribers: If you are unhappy with the Service within the first 72 hours of your initial subscription purchase and have consumed fewer than 10% of your allocated credits, you may request a full refund
3. Non-Refundable Items
The following are not eligible for refunds:
- Credits that have already been consumed (used for video generation)
- Subscription fees after the 72-hour initial refund window has passed (except for billing errors or duplicate charges)
- Accounts terminated for violation of our Terms of Service or Acceptable Use Policy
- Unused credits that expire at the end of a billing period (credits do not roll over)
- Price differences resulting from promotional pricing, discounts, or plan changes
4. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, please contact our billing team within 14 days of the charge in question:

Please include:
- The email address associated with your account
- The date and amount of the charge
- The reason for your refund request
- Any supporting documentation (e.g., screenshots of duplicate charges)
5. Refund Processing
Approved refunds are processed within 5–10 business days. Refunds are issued to the original payment method used for the transaction. Processing times may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.
You will receive an email confirmation once your refund has been processed.
6. Plan Downgrades
If you downgrade your subscription plan, the change takes effect at the start of your next billing period. You will continue to have access to your current plan's features and credit allocation until then. No partial refunds are issued for plan downgrades during an active billing period.
7. Chargebacks
We encourage you to contact billing@happyhorseeai.com before initiating a chargeback with your bank or payment provider. Filing a chargeback without first contacting us may result in temporary or permanent suspension of your account pending investigation.
We are committed to resolving billing disputes fairly and promptly through direct communication.

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
